Antonio Brown Arrested After Gunfire Incident at Florida Event

Antonio Brown, former NFL wide receiver, was arrested Friday night following a violent altercation at a boxing event in Florida. The incident reportedly began when someone attempted to snatch a chain from Brown’s neck. As the situation escalated, Brown allegedly kicked a security guard trying to intervene.

Witnesses stated that Brown then pulled out a firearm, fired a shot into the air, and chased the individual involved in the confrontation. Law enforcement quickly arrived at the scene and took Brown into custody. He was released shortly afterward and returned to the event.

Later that night, Brown appeared on a livestream where he made a controversial comment, saying, “CTE got me blacked out,” referencing chronic traumatic encephalopathy, a condition linked to repeated head injuries. The remark drew mixed reactions, with some expressing concern over his mental health.

Brown, once one of the league’s top wide receivers, has faced a series of public controversies since the end of his football career.
